Limericks II

It's limerick time again.   Unfortunately I really have no sense of metrical rhythm, so please suggest improvements in the comments section.
Reprobatio Certa equates,
To a uniformly negative state,
And since every submission,
Is met by derision,
I await my inevitable fate.

- Neeraj Oak

Dear Neeraj,

'Tis the Journal of Universal Rejection
As rejects each and e'ery submission.*
I'll have you know, sirrah
That Reprobatio Certa
Will publish sans tergiversation.*

* Your limerick included.

Yours in sesquipedalianism,

Journal of Universal Rejection

From a wizened old elder I heard,
"'Tis not the length of the word,
But its fullness of meaning,
That gives one a gleaning,
Of whether the speaker's a nerd".

Appreciate your vocabulary-stretching reply,
