Limerick I

Editor's note: Rejecting a limerick.

There was a submission from Keith,
That was awesome beyond all belief,
But policies can't be neglected
And so your poem is rejected.
Please do not come to grief.

  1. Rejected! Here's a version which works the meter better:

There was a submission from Keith,

    But policies say
we must tell you "NO WAY!"
    So
please, sir, do not come to grief.

  2. Jon, thanks for helping us out with the meter. Since I was raised in the US, I don't understand the metric system.

  3. Dear Dr. Caleb,

I just found a sever drawback in your (almost) perfect initiative. As you can easily see, you have just accepted to publish my comment.

    Thank you very much!

  5. Luca,
Your comment was published in Reprobatio Certa, which is quite different than appearing in the Journal of Universal Rejection. The Journal is still completely unblemished.
